Plain language, because a term you cannot read is not a term you agreed to.
What you are buying
One hardbound picture book, 8 × 10 inches, printed on 170gsm uncoated paper with a layflat stitched binding. Dino Land is fifty-two pages, Moonlight Zoo is fifty-six.
Your child is illustrated into every spread from the photographs you send, and their first name is set into the artwork. The story text is the same in every copy of a title — what is personalised is the child and the name, not the words.
Price
₹2,999, including tax. There is no separate tax line and no delivery charge. The price shown at checkout is what you pay.
₹2,999 is a launch price against ₹4,499. We can change it for future orders. An order already placed is at the price you paid.
The name
Up to twelve letters, printed exactly as you type it. It is a typographic limit, not an arbitrary one — the name is set into the artwork, and a longer one will not fit where it has to sit.
We print what you give us. Check the spelling before you pay, because the name is set into the artwork on the pages, and correcting it after printing means printing the book again.
What we promise about the illustration
That your child is drawn from the photographs you send, that a person looks at every page before it is printed, and that we reprint the book if it is not right.
It is a drawing, not a likeness guarantee. We are not promising a portrait and we would rather say so here than have you discover it when the book arrives. Reprints and refunds covers what happens when it disappoints.
The photographs you send
By uploading them you confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian, or that you have their parent’s permission to send them. We need that to be true — a child’s photograph is not yours to hand over otherwise.
You keep every right in your photographs. You are giving us permission to use them for one thing, which is making your book, and that permission ends when we delete them thirty days after it ships. The photo policy is the detail.
The book itself
The story, the illustrations and the artwork stay ours. The printed book is yours — read it, gift it, photograph it. What you cannot do is reproduce the book or sell copies of it.
Cancelling, and getting your money back
A book that has not started being illustrated can be cancelled. Once a person has begun drawing your child into it, it cannot be sold to anyone else, so cancellation is not automatic after that point — write to us and we will work it out.

Where this applies
Nayra Tales sells and ships within India, and these terms are governed by Indian law. Nothing here takes away a right you have under Indian consumer law.
